I find it very important to read because when you read it can expand your vocabulary and it can even teach you how to spell new words. It's also important to read different types of literature because if you stick to one type of book, it'll most likely stick to the same vocabulary range. Whereas expanding your literature interest will allow you to read non-fiction books and sci-fi books. Sci-fi books and non-fiction books will usually have very different vocabulary because they're about 2 completely topics. So, I encourage you to reach out and try to read more than one genre of books and see if you learn any new words.
